NSC created the State of the Response: The Future World of Work report to understand how the COVID-19 pandemic is fundamentally changing the way businesses operate and communicate with their workforces and where those changes might lead.

Overall, NSC found organizations are more agile than previously believed and were able to use the pandemic response to adapt to challenges as well as break down silos within their organization. Moving forward, organizations will need to improve on efficiencies related remote work, particularly for training and operations, and be better prepared for future infectious disease risks.
