Pointers for Parents: Roadmap to Teen Driver Safety

drive-it-home-Banner

Practicing with your teen driver is the best way to build experience. If you’re not sure where to start, our Pointers for Parents can help! These lessons, which have been reviewed by a driver education professional, cover crucial driving issues, from staying safe in poor weather to the risks of driving at night. You can print them out or access them on your phone for easy reference during driving lessons with your teen.

To ensure these lessons are relevant to you and your teen, they are broken up by experience level:

• Lessons for before your teen begins driving

• Lessons for your teen with a permit

• Lessons for your licensed teen driver

Just sign up for the lessons that are most applicable to your teen’s skill level, then you’ll receive a lesson in your inbox each week for 16 weeks. Once you complete a set of lessons, you can continue right into the next set to continue building your teen’s skills.
